Published by Arno Press this was the author’s Ph.D. thesis at UCLA.  It sketched out the workings and analyzed the films of Newsreel, the radical filmmaking group that was a vital part of the New Left in the late 1960s and 1970s.  An M.A. thesis on Newsreel has never been published and resides in the UCLA, AFI and a few other libraries but a scanned copy may be posted to this site in the future.
